Deleting your account in the app
Open Pararead, go to Settings, then Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and your learning data.
Requesting deletion without the app
Email support@mail.pararead.app or use the form. Provide your account email; any other details are optional. You do not need an account to make a request.
What we delete
Your account, saved words and sentences, reading history, study progress, profile data, and your push token. Apple keeps its own subscription and purchase records; we delete the subscription identifiers we hold, subject to the retention exceptions below.
Deleting your Pararead account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple; cancel it in your App Store settings to stop billing.
Identity verification
Before acting, we may take reasonable steps to confirm the request comes from the account owner - for example, by confirming control of the account email.
Data we may retain
A limited set of records that the law requires us to keep (for example, tax and accounting records, and records to establish or defend legal claims or prevent fraud) is retained for as long as applicable law requires, then deleted - consistent with the Privacy Policy.
How long it takes
Without undue delay, and within one month of a verified request (GDPR Art. 12; this period may be extended for complex requests, with notice).
